Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
ToolkitsLab (the “Site”) respects the privacy of everyone who uses its services (“Users”) and works to protect information so that you can use it with confidence. The Site is operated on the design principle of not collecting what is entered into its tools.
01. Information we collect and how we use it
The information the Site collects is limited to the following.
- Contact information: Messages are received through Google Forms, provided by Google LLC. The name you enter (a nickname is fine), your email address and the content of your message are used only to reply to you and to get in touch. What you submit is stored on Google’s servers and viewed only by the operator of the Site. For how Google Forms handles data, please see theGoogle Privacy Policy.
- Analytics information: Through Google Analytics, cookies are used to collect information such as the pages you view, time spent, your approximate region, and the type of device and browser you use. This is used to improve the Site as statistical information that does not identify you (see section 03 for details).
- Access logs: Access information such as your IP address and browser type is processed through Cloudflare, which hosts the Site (see section 05 for details).
- Advertising information: Advertising providers may use cookies to collect the information needed to serve ads and measure results (see section 04 for details).
02. How data entered into the tools is handled
The Site’s tools use “client-side processing”: they run JavaScript in the User’s browser to do the work.
The processing built into the Site’s tools has no function for sending input data elsewhere. Text and numbers a User enters into a tool, and data such as files, images and audio the User loads, are processed on the User’s own device and are never uploaded to the Site’s servers.
Some tools may save what you enter in the browser’s storage (such as local storage) for convenience. This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to the Site. However, because stored data is not encrypted, others may be able to see it if you use a shared computer. Please delete the data after use.
Tools that use device features such as the microphone (for tuners and similar), the camera or location may ask your browser for permission. Information obtained from these features is also processed only on your device and is never sent to or stored by the Site. You can withdraw permission at any time in your browser settings.
02-1. A design that does not merely “refrain from” sending data, but never builds it in
The Site’s safety does not depend on the operator’s “good intentions” or a verbal promise alone. We have not built the very process of sending tool input to a server into the implementation.Below is the difference between the data path of a typical online tool and that of the Site.
Example: a typical online tool
There is a route by which your input is sent to a server, and whether it remains afterwards as logs or similar depends on how each service is designed.
Data path of ToolkitsLab
The Site’s tool code does not include any communication that sends input data. Calculations and conversions by the Site’s tools are completed inside your device’s browser.
* Communication needed to display pages and provide functions (fetching images, fonts, program components and dictionary data, etc.), and communication for the advertising and analytics described in sections 03 and 04 below, does take place. In none of this communication do the Site’s tools send what you entered into them. Scripts from advertising and analytics services operate according to the policies of their respective providers.
03. Analytics tools
The Site uses Google Analytics, an analytics tool provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data. This data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals.
For how Google collects and uses data, seeHow Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you want to disable data collection, use theGoogle Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-onor turn off cookies in your browser settings.
04. Advertising and cookies
Google AdSense
The Site uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a User’s prior visits to the Site or other websites. By using advertising cookies, Google enables itself and its partners to show appropriate ads to Users based on their visits to the Site and other sites.
You can turn off personalized advertising in Google’sAds Settings. You can also visitwww.aboutads.infoto opt out of the use of third-party vendors’ cookies for personalized advertising.
Cookies and consent management (EEA, the UK and Switzerland)
For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the Site displays a consent management platform (a consent banner) and asks for your consent before cookies and similar technologies are used for analytics and for serving and measuring ads. You can decline, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the consent settings provided on the Site or in your browser settings. Choosing not to consent does not prevent you from using the Site’s tools.
About the display of ads
Pages on the Site may contain ads. Pages that contain ads say so.
05. Hosting and loading of external resources
The Site is delivered using services provided by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver pages and keep them secure (preventing unauthorized access, attacks and the like), Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser type, request information and similar data when you visit. Cloudflare may also use cookies for bot protection and similar purposes.
For how Cloudflare handles data, see theCloudflare Privacy Policy.
In addition, some pages and tools load fonts (Google Fonts), program components and dictionary data needed for display and function from external delivery services (CDNs). As with ordinary web browsing, your IP address, browser type and similar information are sent to each delivery provider, but what you enter into the tools is never sent.
06. Disclosure of personal information to third parties
Except where required by law, the Site does not provide personal information to third parties without the User’s consent. The providers described in sections 03 to 05 process data on the Site’s behalf, or as independent controllers, in accordance with their own policies.
07. International transfers of data
The services the Site uses (Google, Cloudflare and others) may process data in countries outside your own, including Japan, the United States and other countries. Where personal data of Users in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred outside those regions, the transfer relies on the safeguards required by applicable law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, as set out in each provider’s policy. Contact messages sent through Google Forms are likewise stored on Google’s servers.
08. Legal bases for processing

- Contact messages: our legitimate interest in replying to your inquiry and, where relevant, steps taken at your request.
- Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google AdSense and similar): your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Access logs and security processing (Cloudflare): our legitimate interest in delivering the Site, keeping it secure and preventing abuse.
09. Retention of data
Contact messages are kept only for as long as needed to reply and to deal with any follow-up, and are then deleted after an appropriate period. Data collected by analytics, advertising and hosting services is retained for the periods set by each provider.
10. Security of personal information
For personal information obtained through inquiries, the Site takes the measures necessary and appropriate to prevent leakage, loss or damage and otherwise keep it secure.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, and in particular if you are in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the following rights regarding your personal data.
- The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
- The right to have inaccurate data corrected.
- The right to have your data erased.
- The right to restrict processing.
- The right to data portability.
- The right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, please use the contact point in section 13. We will verify that the request comes from you and respond within a reasonable period in accordance with applicable law. The Site does not make decisions that produce legal effects on Users based solely on automated processing.
If you believe your personal data has been processed in breach of the law, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement took place.
