What PDF & File Management tools can do for you

4 tools listed

The PDF and file management tools make handling documents and large numbers of files easier. Merge and split PDFs, extract, delete, rotate and reorder pages, compress to a target file size, convert PDF pages to JPG or PNG, and combine phone photos into a single A4 PDF.

To work inside a PDF, fill in text, dates and check marks, add a handwritten signature, convert a PDF to Markdown, or run a quick accessibility check. You can also pull text, images, comments and tracked changes out of Word documents.

For file organization, zip and unzip archives, rename many files with find-and-replace and numbering (with a regular expression preview), split and join text files, search and replace across a folder, visualize folder size as a treemap and detect duplicate or near-identical photos. Because processing happens in your browser, you avoid the upload step and the worry that comes with it.

PDF & File Management: frequently asked questions

Q. Are PDFs uploaded when I merge or compress them?
A. No. Merging, splitting and compressing all happen in your browser, and the files are never uploaded.
Q. Can I undo a bulk rename?
A. The bulk rename tool gives you renamed copies as a ZIP, so your originals are never changed. Tools that overwrite files in a folder do change them, so make a backup first.
