Streaming, music, cloud storage, a gym you rarely visit. Add what you pay for, flip the ones you'd drop to Cancel, and see how much stays in your pocket after 1, 3 and 5 years.

DetailsWhat a Subscription Calculator Shows You
Streaming, apps, cloud storage, meal kits and memberships are charged automatically, so it is easy to lose track of what they add up to. A $12 charge looks small. Over three years it is $432.
This calculator turns your list of recurring charges into yearly totals. Mark any item as Cancel and the page shows how much you would save over 1, 3 and 5 years. There is no account to create and nothing to connect.
Common Ways to Use It
Review your monthly bills
List every recurring charge you can find, then see what they cost per month and per year before deciding which ones to keep.
Think twice before signing up
Add the new service at its regular price and see what it would cost over three or five years, not just the first month.
Pick which subscriptions to drop
Switch the services you barely use to Cancel and compare the total you keep with the total you free up.
How to Total Up Your Subscriptions and Savings
- Select Add subscription for each service you pay for.
- Enter the name, the price you are charged, and how often you are charged (monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months or yearly).
- Set each service to Keep or Cancel with the toggle button.
- Read the dashboard: your current monthly total, the monthly total after cancellations, and the savings after 1, 3 and 5 years.
Note: Your list is saved in this browser automatically, so you can come back and keep adding.
How the Math Works
- Each price is converted to a yearly cost based on its billing cycle. Monthly figures are the yearly cost divided by 12.
- Savings equal the yearly cost of every item set to Cancel, multiplied by 1, 3 or 5 years.
- Taxes are not added, so enter the amount you actually pay. Price increases, prorated refunds and investment returns are not included.
- Your entries are saved only in this browser's localStorage. They are not synced to other devices.

Why Recurring Charges Add Up Faster Than You Expect
A few reasons small automatic payments deserve a regular check.
One cancellation keeps paying off
Cutting back on groceries or gas takes effort every week. Canceling a subscription is one action that lowers your bills every month afterward.
Small charges are easy to overlook
Charges that post automatically rarely feel like a decision. Seeing the yearly and multi-year total next to each service makes it easier to judge whether you still use it.
Work subscriptions need their own check
If you pay for software through a business or as a freelancer, this calculator does not separate personal and business use. Ask your accountant how to treat those costs.
Billing Mistakes That Quietly Cost You Money
A free trial that rolls into a paid plan
You sign up for a free trial with a card, forget to cancel, and the paid plan starts. Many people keep paying for months before they notice.

An annual plan you stop using
An annual plan can look cheaper per month, but if you stop using the service after a few months you have still paid for the full year, and refund policies vary by service.

The same service billed twice
You subscribed on the company's website, then signed up again through an app store or another account. Now two charges are running for the same service.

Add-ons nobody uses
Device protection plans, extra storage, family plan seats and bundled extras often stay on the bill long after anyone needs them.

Subscription Savings FAQ
Q.Is my subscription list sent anywhere?
A. No. The calculator runs in your browser, and the names and prices you enter are saved only in your browser's localStorage. The tool has no sign-in and no bank or card connection.
Q.Will my list still be there if I close the tab?
A. Yes. Every change is saved automatically in the browser you are using, so the list is there when you come back. It is not synced between devices, and clearing your browser data or using a private window will remove it.
Q.How are monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual plans combined?
A. Each subscription is converted to a yearly cost first: monthly price × 12, quarterly price × 4, semiannual price × 2, annual price × 1. Monthly figures are the yearly cost divided by 12, so plans with different billing cycles can be added together.
Q.How is the savings number calculated?
A. The calculator adds up the yearly cost of every subscription set to Cancel. That total is your 1-year savings, and it is multiplied by 3 and 5 for the longer periods.
Q.Does it include sales tax, price increases or refunds?
A. No. It multiplies the price you enter and nothing else. If your bill includes tax, enter the amount you actually pay. Price hikes, prorated refunds and investment returns on the money you save are not modeled.
Q.Can I enter a free trial?
A. The calculator doesn't track dates, so enter the price you will be charged after the trial ends. Set the item to Cancel if you plan to end it before the first charge, and you will see what it would have cost.
